We set out on our journey from Marysville to Carson City at 10am.

(relaxing and getting ready in the second room)

Along the highway we passed through Nevada City, Donner Summit, Truckee, Reno, and not long after Carson City. The drive was simply beautiful.  We settled in at our hotel, only to find that the room given to us had a broken bed (thanks to Faye sitting on it and almost launching herself to the ceiling), we moved to a new room and freshened up, put our team shirts on before making our way to Virginia City.

After arriving we looked up and down the main street in Virginia City getting a feel for the town. We checked in with our friends who are part of the G.H.O.S.T. Files team. It was not long till we checked out the bar and back room of the first floor of the Old Washoe Club. In the back room, the Washoe Club made a museum of oddities, and of Ghost Hunters, and Ghost Adventures memorabilia of their investigations at the club. They even had the documentary of Ghost Adventures from when they investigated the Washoe playing over and over and over.
(in case people could not find parking, behold the large sign)

(the town's very patriotic looking)

The town is very paranormal friendly. Both Ghost Hunters (TAPS) and Ghost Adventures Crew have investigated all through this town. There were many locals eager to tell us of their ghost experiences and suggested places to tour while we were in town.

Spirits of the Old West 2 was presented by Ghost Files.
The second night, The G.H.O.S.T. Files presented their latest short film.

just after investigations started and till about 3am the ganzfeld sessions were conducted and volunteer only.
(Roxi volunteered for the Ganzfeld)

A ganzfeld experiment (from the German for “entire field”) is a technique used in the field of parapsychology to test individuals for extrasensory perception (ESP). It uses homogeneous and unpatterned sensory stimulation to produce an effect similar to sensory deprivation. The deprivation of patterned sensory input is said to be conducive to inwardly generated impressions. The technique was devised by Wolfgang Metzger in the 1930s as part of his investigation into the gestalt theory. (information obtained via internet)

Investigation first night:
Miners Cabin in Gold Hill (Faye, Roxi and Jennifer), and then the Old Washoe Club's second floor.

(The Miner's Cabin in Gold Hill)

Our investigation of the Miner's Cabin lead to some very interesting EVP's that Faye and Jennifer caught on their recorders. (it is our opinion that the cabin is haunted). We do wish we had more time to conduct a thorough investigation, but we were on rotation with others attending this event.

The investigations of the Washoe's second floor was more of getting to know the layout and attempt EVP sessions. With everyone excited and tired at the same time, it made for a very long night.

Second day we went to the Historic Virginia City Cemetery and looked around a few of the old buildings.

Investigation second night:
 Old Washoe Club

Once again we were allowed to head up to the second and third floors of the Washoe. Most split up in groups as small as three and some had seven or more. Half way through the G.H.O.S.T. Files set up their ganzfeld experiment, of which our team member Roxi participated. Later Faye, Roxi, and Jennifer met up with Anna who was investigating with Bill and Anita Murphy.

(Even the ladies restroom has claims of  being haunted.)

Here are some of the EVP's captured by the girls during the two nights of events. None of these proves or disproves that's ghosts exists. Headphones are recommended.

The last day we rolled out of bed late (oops), packed up, and headed for home.
